Doesn't this always happen that you play brawl very well against good people, but suck against bad people. Well it happens to me. On gb i loose to some pit who only does smash and up air(his record is 5-4 i think) i two stock some DK named OOK! who has a very good record.(he is 7-1 currently because of me. http://gamebattles.com/wii/smash-bros/team/ook ) This always happen to me, but does it happen to you?

Every1 is equal on wifi. Anything can happen from lag. it can make you lucky and help you land that dsmash to kill a top ranked player, or it could also lead to your demise from a low rank. Not only that but match-up knowledge, stages also contribute a lot.

On a side note though, i rarely ever lose to low ranks although.
