And I think TLink is top tier too along with the olimar that isn't on there. Id say Lucas is at least middle tier because he's harder to gimp than ness

olimar is ridiculously easy to gimp, so he is not top tier. he is also riduclusly light.
DDD is the strongest in the game, has one of the best recoveries if not the best, and thewaddledde throw gives him something the otehr heavies dont have: range. Also the infinite grab he has makes him top tier.
and those tilts can be held for a while and can stop enemies from approaching.

DeDeDe is DEFINITELY not top tier. I can tell you that.

And I'm gonna have to SADLY agree that Dedede is in the top Tier. Projectiles, uber good recovery, Dededecide, A lot of kill moves...it's sad but true : /

let's not forget how snake, ROB and gw aren't vulnerable after using the recovery attack, unlike all of the other character who fall hopelessy.

just thought i should say that since ppl think snake and gw are top tier mainly b/c of their smashes but i think this recovery is what rly brings them to such high spots as well.

I think it's all of those things as a whole. Smashes are important, but being able to do lag free smashes also adds to it because most people get kills because of them.

So lets recap. Smashes and recovery moves influence the tiers. Anyone else wanna add something else?

also attack priority has a lot to do with it. CF, has really poor attack priority, so he is low tier.

yea i guess b/c falco has the most acessible one that is easy to pull off b/c olimar and the ice climbers can chain grab as well as you know.

also, have any of you noticed how far the range of falco's f smash is? It has really good reach.

Yeah but that alone is nothing.

falco biggest pros:
-fast
-dair
-chaingrab
-blaster (stunning)
-reflector's ability to shoot back almost all projectiles.
-A smash attack that goes forward as well as behind at same time (fsmash)

biggest cons:
-predicatable reovery
-light
-easily suicides accidentally with a misaimed dash or fire.

he is high tier imo. but watever. he is still one of my favorites to play as.

and also do u beleive that something to replace l cancel will be discovered to rly switch up the chart and end MK and Snake's reign? (I think it will be harder and the developers made it more foolproof of a system than melee on purpose to make it less competitive)

and do u believe MK and/or Snake are broken? (I do . those are the only 2 for me. I also dont think them being broken is all that bad since brawl isn't chess. And I don think those 2 are far enough broken to come near ruining the game. also i respect players who use any of the 2 skillfully.

I personally think there are no "tiers". Sakurai wanted a game where anyone could stand a chance against anyone with any character (or that's what I'd like to think), so, if you want to get technical with it, the tiers would all be custom to a player's individual style.

The only thing is, most slow characters aren't so good because many gamers are fast-paced, so..XD I will say that he did put broken techniques into some characters - I think it was to make the game more interesting and fun - like when a bunch of guys come over and A Triple D player suddenly gets a Triple KO. That's something to remember (especially because I've done it XD), and I think that's why he put broken techniques in there. I think he knew advanced players would figure out a way past the brokenness.

If I had a tier list, though..I dunno who be in what tier XD
